Gallery ChangManhattan, New York

Gallery Chang is an art gallery in Midtown Manhattan. We designed the space and built it, from the first layout drawing to the opening show.

A gallery has one job: let the work stand out. We kept the room quiet with white walls, clean baseboards and a wide-plank oak floor, and spent the detail where it counts. Track lighting runs along every wall so each piece can be lit on its own. A clad portal frames the view into the back rooms, and the reception desk sits right at the entry in dark stone with a soft light line below.
