A renovation of a single-family house in the north end of Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, with a new sunroom added at the back. D2 Plus One handled both the design and the construction.

The sunroom and the first-floor living room share an open, see-through fireplace, so they feel like one space while remaining separate rooms. We added large windows and doors on every side of the sunroom to bring in as much daylight as possible. Inside, the house has a two-story foyer with twin curved stairs, lit coffered ceilings, white oak floors, a new kitchen with a walnut island and butler bar, and bathrooms finished in large-format porcelain slabs.
