Something Sweet

A café and dessert shop in Midtown Manhattan. We designed the space and built it, from the first layout drawing to opening day.

The palette is calm on purpose: warm white walls, large-format stone-look tile and one strong color. Pink stacked tile wraps the service counter and the communal table, so the eye goes straight to the order point. Built-in tiled benches line the walls and leave the center of the room open.
